Tales from the Beyond — For teens and tweens. Thursday, Aug. 18, 7-8 p.m. Get goosebumps. Greg McAdams presents this intriguing creepy and a little scary program. View unusual artifacts, such as a voodoo doll, ancient coins, old photographs and newspaper clippings. Try to read minds and experience ESP. Caterpillars Storytime — Birth to 12 months. Monday, Aug. 22, 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for a fun morning storytime where we will enjoy gentle songs, stories, puppets, and more. Drop in.

Butterflies Storytime — Ages 1-2. Monday, Aug. 22, 11-11:30 a.m. Children will enjoy this fun morning storytime with music and puppets. Drop in.

Junior Authors Workshop series — Ages 5-7. Thursday, Aug. 25, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Does your child like to create his/her own stories? In this series, younger kids will learn the basics of writing, and how to structure a story. They will write and illustrate their own book that will be displayed in the library. Free. Register.

Adult Summer Reading Bingo — Ends Saturday, Aug. 26. All raffle tickets must be submitted by 2pm. Drawing for two $75 Parker’s Steak and Scotch gift cards will be Monday, Aug. 28.
