Babe Ruth: Trumbull shuts out Norwalk to win 13 title

Andrew Harvey and Robert Goldstein combined on a one-hitter when Trumbull 13s captured the Babe Ruth District 2 championship with a 4-0 victory over Norwalk at Nathan Hale Field on Tuesday.

Manager Mike Buswell’s team went 3-0 in district play to  advance to the state tournament on July 8 at Cubeta Stadium in Stamford.

Trumbull scored a run in the first inning, two in the second, and one in the third.

John Morello had a hit and two RBIs.

Ray Leonzi had a hit and scored a run.

Jake Gruttadauria had two hits and scored a run.

Jackson Vincente had a sacrifice fly.
