Norwalk’s loss was the final piece of the puzzle as only two seeds — Darien at No. 1 and Danbury at No. 8 — had been settled.
First, Norwalk dropped to No. 4 in the standings, with Greenwich and Trumbull finishing tied in second place. Greenwich defeated Trumbull during the regular season and this took the No. 2 seed, with Trumbull at No. 3.
A four-way tie was forged in fourth place with Norwalk, Ridgefield, Warde and St. Joseph all 10-6 in league play.
Norwalk and Ridgefield were both 2-1 against the other three teams in the tie, so were split off to the fourth and fifth seed, with Norwalk taking No. 4 based on its head-to-head win vs. Ridgefield. Ridgefield is No. 5.
St. Joe’s defeated Warde and thus finished No. 6, with Warde in the No. 7 spot.
