C.E.S. Foundation announces mini-grant winners for 2015-16

The Cooperative Educational Services (C.E.S.) Foundation awarded 13 mini-grants to educators on Thursday, Dec. 10, during a ceremony at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.

The Foundation provides support to C.E.S. students, teachers, and programs. During the ceremony, Foundation President Dr. Nancy Cetorelli awarded more than $8,500 in grants of varying amounts to educators in C.E.S. programs, including Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School, Regional Center for the Arts, School Readiness preschool, and Special Education services.

Since its inception in 2007, the C.E.S. Foundation has awarded over $60,000 in mini-grants for more than 100 different proposals.

“The C.E.S. Foundation awards mini-grants to C.E.S. educators for creative and innovative proposals,” Cetorelli said. “These mini-grants provide students with unique and expanded programs that have potential for future success. The Foundation awards these grants in alignment with its mission to enhance learning opportunities for students in C.E.S. schools and programs and has been very pleased with the quality of the proposals over the past eight years.”
