Lace exhibit

“From the Cradle to the Grave,” Magyar News Online together with Trumbull Congregational Church presents a lace exhibit, the works of István Szigethy, folk artist, from Hövej, Hungary, on Sunday, June 7, noon-2 p.m. It will be h eld at Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave. For more information, call 203-268-2433.

George’s Hill

George’s Hill, a social engagement group which encourages individuals with memory loss and their care partners to seek out activities that promote healthy living and engage the mind and body through physical, social and creative activities, meets on the second Thursday of every month. Next meeting will be Thursday, June 11 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Tag sale

The Women of St. Stephen will be having a tag sale in the church hall at 6946 Main St., in Trumbull on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and on Sunday, June 14, after all masses. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Homes for the Brave (women’s home) in Bridgeport.

Summer Camp program

Congregation B’nai Torah, 5700 Main St., is accepting applications for the 2015 summer program. Designed for children 2 1/2 to 5-years-old, the program runs from June 22 to Aug. 7. Features seven weeks of summertime fun including weekly themes and highlighting water and sand play, woodworking and outdoor discovery. Air conditioned classrooms provide a comfortable indoor environment. Vacation Bible School

Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave. (between highways 15 and 8; across the street from City Line Florist), invites the children of the community to its “International Spy Academy … where kids investigate and discover the truth about God” Vacation Bible School program which will meet daily, Monday-Friday, Aug. 10-14, from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Children ages 4 through 11 will participate in activities involving “cracking codes and uncovering clues,” Bible stories, uplifting music, indoor and outdoor games, fun crafts and snacks.
