The Nichols Garden Club delivered their annual flower arrangements made by the club to three convalescent homes in Trumbull; St. Joseph’s Manor, Maefair and Stern Village, for Valentine’s day.

The club’s March 10 meeting at The Starkweather House, 1773 Huntington Tpke, Nichols, will have a program, Beyond Birdfeeders-Gardening for the Birds, presented by Margery Winters. Learn what you can plant in your yard to provide food, shelter and water to an even wider variety of birds throughout the year.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m., and guests are welcome. The club’s April 14 meeting will be Succulents, presented by Nancy Moore of Moorefield Herb Farm who will demonstrate how to create a beautiful and carefree succulent garden.
