Sunday, July 13, 10-11 a.m. Students will learn to identify common local wildflowers and go on a walk around the TNAC grounds to collect flowers for crafts. Students will learn to press flowers and will take their crafts home with them. Ages 6 and up. Cost: $7/child.
Campfire and Fireflies Night
Friday, July 18, 8-9:30 p.m. Gather at sunset and learn about fireflies as we celebrate this curious insect. Learn why fireflies glow. Grab a net and jar before venturing into the summer night to participate in a friendly competition. Then gather ‘round the campfire for s’more making, storytelling, and much more on a summer’s evening. Bring a flashlight. Great for families with children ages 4 and up. Cost: $10 per family.
