Beginning Nov. 1 through May 2015, The Great Minds Collection: 35 Portraits of Transformational Figures, will be exhibited throughout the Trumbull Library. A collaborative project of Trumbull residents, Dick and Jane Resnick, and contemporary artist, Robin Morris, the collection is a series of large scale, stylized portraits of individuals, each defined as someone who has altered the human landscape, who has changed the way humans think, or what we think, or even how we think. Paint-In program at Trumbull Library

CT Classic Arts will meet on Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m., in the Trumbull Library Community Room where a Paint-In program will be held. Members, friends and the public are invited to bring their own painting or drawing materials. A still-life setting will be provided. The club is for those interested in learning more about art and watching professional artists ply their medium. Homemade soup and dessert will be served. A $4 donation is requested of non-members.
