At the Ride Against Child Abuse in May, motorcyclists raised $5,899 for The Center for Family Justice, which works to end domestic, sexual and child abuse and violence in six towns: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull. Pictured: Johnny Vazzano, owner of the original Vazzy’s Restaurant; and from Trumbull, Fred Garrity Jr., Paul Ferencz and Tom Gallo, who accepted the check as a member of The Center’s board of directors. Vazzy’s and the law offices of John Haymond and Trantolo & Trantolo were the event’s sponsors.
