Middlebrook Elementary School PTA elects new board

The Middlebrook Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA), held their annual PTA End of Year Installation dinner on Monday June 12, at the original Vazzy’s in Bridgeport. The event was a festive celebration of the many accomplishments of this past year’s PTA Board and graduating volunteers and was highlighted by a standing ovation for outgoing PTA president Jennifer Mottolese, who has served as president for a term of two years.

The new PTA Board was nominated and approved for the 2017-2018 school year.

The new PTA officers are Ruth Fontilla, president; Amy Lehaney, first vice president; Kristine Saccone, second vice president; Pat Frillici, principal, third vice president; Ron Mason, treasurer; and Cathleen Sullivan, secretary.

“I am so excited to lead the Middlebrook PTA for the upcoming school year, “ says Ruth Fontilla. “Jen Mottolese has truly set the bar high in all of her work for the Middlebrook community. We all thank her for her hard work and dedication to our children and families and wish her well at Madison Middle School’s PTA.”

The Middlebrook PTA advocates for students and families and provides community and family events throughout the year with help from parent and teacher volunteers.
