Little League: White Sox win Majors championship

The White Sox defeated the Dodgers in the Trumbull Little League Majors championship game to take home the town title.

In their playoff run, the Sox defeated the A’s 8-6, the Orioles 13-3 and the Dodgers 9-5.

All players contributed at the plate for the Sox as they totaled 30 runs in the three games.

On the defensive end, they were led by stellar pitching performances by Jack Durland, Ray Vicente and Jack Nemec, solid catching by Drew Colucci, outstanding outfield play by Kevin Seymour, DJ Amaral and Aiden Stewart, and standout infield performances by Ben McKeon, Joey Tamorria, Gavin Grashow, Jayson Caballero and Matt DiJoseph.
