As Trumbull and the state dig out from record-breaking snow this weekend, residents should remember not to place snow from their driveways into the road.
Town ordinance specifically prohibits this practice and the fine for a first violation is $50 plus a surcharge depending upon how much snow and how difficult it is for town workers to clear. Police said the average fine for a first-time offender is $91.
