Mission: ‘Snuggle’

Lauren Patalano, a student teacher in Mrs. Cutler’s second grade class at Daniels Farm School recently taught students why it is important to help out and volunteer within their community. The class made and donated fleece knot blankets for children who are patients at Yale-New Haven Pediatric Center. This act of kindness taught the students “that even little contributions, such as blankets, can make a brighter day for someone who might be sick,” said Patalano.
