Fairfield County cheerleading teams will be the focus of MSG Varsity’s The Cheering Life: 2013 Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) Cheerleading Championships.
The 90-minute special will air Sunday, March 10 at 9 p.m. on Optimum TV channel 14.
The show will highlight 15 Connecticut high school cheering squads competing for the all-around title — featuring interviews, full routine coverage and awards presentations.

“These teams represent the best of the best in Connecticut which means another year of intense and thrilling competition.”

High school teams competing include Danbury, Stamford, Darien, Staples of Westport, Fairfield Ludlowe, Fairfield Warde, Trinity Catholic of Stamford, Greenwich, Trumbull, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westhill of Stamford, Brien McMahon of Norwalk, Wilton and St. Joseph of Trumbull.
MSG Varsity’s The Cheering Life: 2013 FCIAC Cheerleading Championships is produced by Emmy Award winning producer Martin Ehrlich.
