The Trumbull High girls basketball team couldn’t overcome a 16-2 run in the third quarter by host Wilton High when the Eagles lost a 43-31 decision to the Warriors on Friday.
The 14-2 Eagles trailed the 14-2 Warriors, 19-18 at the half and won the final quarter 11-8.
Erin Moore scored 11 points for Trumbull.
