DiMasi, Paolini too much for Fairfield

A.J. DiMasi scored six goals and Matt Paolini made 50 saves to pace the Trumbull High hockey team in its 7-4 victory over Fairfield on Wednesday.
The Eagles improved to 4-9 with the win over the Mustangs (7-5).
Nate Walker scored the other Trumbull goal and had four assists, as the Eagles broke a 1-1 tie after one period with a 4-3 edge in the second stanza.
Paolini pitched a shutout in the third, when the locals added two goals to their lead.
Alex Pierne had two assists, and Luke Bolton, Brendan McGill and Michael Antoniou one each.
