Youth lacrosse practice times

Trumbull Youth Lacrosse (TYL)  will be running one-hour sessions once a week every Sunday into November.  The focus of these fall clinics is on teaching fundamentals and having fun. TYL’s fall clinic sessions are not mandatory, and are not a prerequisite for participation in the winter or spring seasons.
TYL encourages and supports our children’s desire to participate in other sports outside of the traditional lacrosse season, so there should be no concerns if sessions are missed due to conflicts with soccer, football, basketball, etc.
TYL’s fall sessions are designed to be fun and instructional in nature. Focus is on teaching proper form, correcting bad habits and learning the rules of the game.
To that end TYL, has been fortunate to have support from the Trumbull High School coaching staffs. This fall, THS varsity coach Jim Kammerman will be on the field, working with the players and assisting the TYL coaches.
TYL has had to make some adjustments in practice times over the past few weeks of registration and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If your son’s ability to participate is impacted by a change in time, contact us and we will be happy to provide refund.
Practice times are as follows:
U7 Boys Little Eagles – 9 to 10 a.m.; U9 Boys Bantams – 10 to 11 a.m.; U11 Boys Lightning – 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; U13 Boys Juniors – 12 to 1 p.m.; and U15 Boys Seniors – 1 to 2 p.m.
The practice field is the lower field located directly behind Hillcrest Middle School.
